Calia Italia Partners with DFS Group to Bring Exclusive Collection to Sofology
Calia Italia, the historic Italian upholstered furniture brand founded in Matera in 1965 and listed in the Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest, has announced a strategic partnership with DFS Group, the UK's leading retailer in the sofa and upholstered furniture sector.
The agreement marks a significant milestone in Calia Italia's international growth. As part of the partnership, a selection of Calia Italia models is available exclusively through Sofology, DFS Group's flagship brand, across its store network.
The exclusive collection includes five ranges - Sasso, Lucano, Santoro, Giuggiola and Ortega - each reflecting Calia Italia's Italian craftsmanship and design heritage. The collection launched across all 56 Sofology stores in July 2026.
The collaboration is the result of a long process of relationship-building and a shared vision, aimed at strengthening the presence of Italian design in the United Kingdom by offering consumers a proposition that expresses the authentic craftsmanship Calia Italia has developed since its foundation.
